Yogi Bear™ and Boo Boo™ and our activities staff want to make sure that you'll have a great time camping with us at Jellystone Park™ in Indian River. Daily activities will always include a chance for everyone to visit with Yogi Bear and Boo Boo, as well as games, crafts, wagon rides, candy bar bingo and evening cartoons. Theme weekends provide extra fun and excitement for the whole family!

Campground Capers 2012

It's going to be a GREAT summer at Jellystone Park in Indian River!  Start making plans for those weekends you don't want to miss!  Daily Yogi Bear and Boo Boo appearances and activites provided June 11 through Labor Day.

Pre-season:  Mother's Day Weekend, May 12 & 13 we're offering a special Mother-Daughter weekend in our rental units only!  With check-in on Saturday morning, this "pajama party package" includes all your meals and activities, and special service to pamper Mom.  Limited availability...call for more information and special pricing.

May 15:  Campground opens for the season.  Camping is 50% off through May 25th!

May 18 - 20: Campground Cleanup Weekend:  We love this weekend!  CAMP FREE this weekend if you bring a rake and spend a few hours helping us spruce up for the season.  Kids, help wake up Yogi Bear and Boo Boo from hibernation!  Potluck on Saturday evening and the season's first cartoons!  Rental units available at 50% if you help out!

May 25:  POOL OPENS FOR THE SEASON!

May 25 - 28:  Memorial Day / Race Weekend:  We'll kick off the summer with all your favorite Jellystone Park activites including the Jellystone Park Derby on Saturday and the annual Indian River Box Car 500 on Sunday.  Pancake breakfast on Memorial Day morning ($) and late checkout!

JUNE IS GREAT OUTDOORS MONTH!

June 1 - 3:  2 for 1 Weekend:  Bring another family...pay for one site, get the second site FREE!  (Or each family pays 50% the usual rate.  Must have two families to qualify for discount.)  Bring us a new customer and you'll also receive a thank you gift!

June 8 - 10:  A Mexican Fiesta:  Come experience some "south of the border" fun and food!  Bring your squirt guns for the "mexican stand-ff", create Mexican arts & crafts, and enter our chili cook-off as part of our Taco Bar ($) on Saturday evening!

June 15 -17:  Father's Day Weekend:  As a tribute to dad we'll have a special Father-Son activity and a Father-Daughter ice cream social.  A pancake breakfast on Sunday morning ($) is free for dad!

June 22 - 24:  Old West Weekend:  Maple Ridge Stables will be here on Saturday offering PONY RIDES as well as a demonstration of how the Pony Express riders would have worked!  Bring your squirt guns for the cowboys "shoot-out at the J.P. corral" and enjoy a Chuck Wagon super on Saturday evening ($).

June 29 - July 8:  Independence Week!  Stay 3 nights any time during this week and we'll give you and extra night FREE!  (Valid for Campsites only) We'll have information for all the local celebrations and fireworks (we don't do fireworks at the park).

June 29 - July 1:  Canada Day Celebration:  Lots of summer fun, including an ice cream social ($) and some special activities for our neighbors from the north!

July 4th:  Independence Day:   Special activities for our U.S. guests include trying to create the flag from light sticks, and a traditional bike parade.

July 6 - 8:   Old Fashioned Country Fair:  Fun and games and prizes for everyone!   PONY RIDES provided by Maple Ridge Stables and an ice cream social ($) are sure to highlights of the fair on Saturday.

July 13 - 15:  Christmas in July:  Deck those campsites, sing carols around the campfire, and decorate Yogi Bear's Christmas tree with hand-made ornaments and light sticks.  PARENTS, don't forget to bring a small gift ($5.00 or less) for Santa and Yogi Bear to pass out to your children.

July 20 - 22:  Pirates of Jellystone Park:   Its time to hunt for treasure buried beneath the sands of Jellystone Park!  Or maybe you'd like to creat your own treasure during arts & crafts!

July 27 - 29: Jellystone Park Olympics:  The 2012 Summer Games may be in London, but we'll have our own version going on right here!  Families can make a cloth flag for our opening ceremony, family teams can compete in a variety of events.  Will your team win the medal count?

August 3 - 5:  Haunted Halloween:  Games, arts & crafts, Trick-or-Treat in the campground and the Haunted Woods...ghosts and zombies and werewolves, oh my!

August 10 - 12:  Birthday Party for Yogi Bear and Boo Boo:  You're invited!  The party will take place Saturday afternoon and Yogi Bear and Boo Boo want to make sure you can come.  Party games for all ages and cake and ice cream for everyone!

August 17 - 19:  Caveman Weekend:  Dig for dinosaur eggs and fossils, explode a volcano, and take out a "mastadon" with a slingshot!  Caveman (or woman) costume contest for all ages!

August 24 - 26:  Thanksgiving at Jellystone Park:  Don't miss our fantastic feast!  We'll provide the turkey, stuffing, mashed potatos, gravy and beverages.  In historic Thanksgiving tradition we ask that you bring a dish to share.  There'll be arts & crafts, games and more!

August 31 - September 3:  Labor Day Weekend and Mardi Gras Fest:  Wrap up your summer with all of your favorite Jellystone Park activities.  On Saturday evening we'll celebrate New Orleans style with a parade and pinatas!

September 4:  POOL CLOSES FOR THE SEASON!  Midweek camping rates reduced by 50%, and weekend rates reduced by 25%.  A great time for empty-nesters to camp!

September 7 - 9:  Chinese New Year:  Come celebrate the new school year and take part in our version of the dragon parade and the lantern parade!

September 15 - 16:  Boo Boo's Buddies Sleep-over:  Lots of great Jellystone Park fun, including a special sleep-over for the boys with Boo Boo!  Pancake breakfast ($) on Sunday morning.

September 21 - 23:  Oktoberfest / Fall Celebration:  Fun fall activities and arts & crafts for the whole family!  Join in  our Oktoberfest potluck supper on Saturday evening.

September 28 - 30:  Haunted Haloween II:  We'll pick pumpkins from Yogi Bear's Pumpkin Patch, bob for apples and Trick-or-Treat in the campground.  But watch out...the ghouls and goblins come out after dark!

September 30:  Campground Closes for the season.  See you next season.  HAPPY HIBERNATION!
